Pam Tate is a singer, a songwriter, an actor, an award-winning
playwright, a producer and director.  Her career spans thirty-five
years, performing in venues that range from small cabaret clubs
to stadiums of 50,000 fans. Pam's musical stylings include rock,
jazz, country and musical theater, but always infused with the
blues, a hallmark of her performances and her CDs - Die Happy,
Dancing on the Pyramids and Something Wonderful.  As an
actress, Pam has portrayed characters as diverse as the mercurial
Zelda Fitzgerald in The Last Flapper, Violet in August Osage
County, and the hard boiled Lorraine in Sam Shepard’s A Lie of
the Mind.  Pam’s writing projects include plays and screenplays
dealing with subjects ranging from the mill girls of 1840 Lowell,
Massachusetts to Leni Riefenstahl, a notorious filmmaker in Nazi
Germany, to an incorrigible gospel singer in 21st Century New
York. Ship Of Fools The Musical, based on the novel by Katherine
Anne Porter,  is Pam's latest writing and composing project. Pam
Tate is a prolific artist and a consummate entertainer.
