Pam Tate is a singer, songwriter,  actor, award-winning
playwright,  producer and director.  Her career spans thirty-
five years, performing in venues that range from small
cabaret clubs to stadiums of 50,000 fans. Pam's music is
rock and country, often infused with the blues, a hallmark of
her performances and her CDs - Die Happy, Dancing on the
Pyramids and Something Wonderful.

As an actress, Pam has portrayed characters as diverse as
sweet and kooky Mary in A. R. Gurney's Crazy Mary, the
mercurial Zelda Fitzgerald in The Last Flapper, pill-
popping Violet in August Osage County, and the hard boiled
Lorraine in Sam Shepard’s A Lie of the Mind.  

Pam’s writing projects include plays and screenplays
dealing with subjects ranging from the mill girls of 1840
Lowell, Massachusetts to Leni Riefenstahl, a notorious
filmmaker in Nazi Germany, to an incorrigible gospel singer
in 21st Century New York. Ship Of Fools The Musical,
based on the novel by Katherine Anne Porter,  is an ongoing
writing and composing project.

Pam Tate is a prolific artist and a consummate entertainer.

Mar. 23-24, 2013, - Pam directs and her original one-act play, SONG
FOR MIRANDA LAMBERT... as part of Poor Mouth Theatre
Company's "Puttin' On Your Shorts" program, performed at An
Beal Bocht in Riverdale, Bronx, NY.

Feb. 15, 2013 - Pam sings 9-12pm at Shea O'Brien's in New Paltz,
with Jeff Entin and Eric Stamberg. High energy acoustic rock,
country, blues & smokin' hot originals!

June 2012 - Pam is chosen to attend NSAI's ADVANCED SONG
CAMP in Nashville, TN. She takes the stage for the first time in
Nashville at The Commodore Grill.

Mar. 28, 2012 - Pam's play HELP WANTED is part of Poor Mouth
Theatre Company's "Puttin' On Your Shorts" program, performed at
An Beal Bocht in Riverdale, Bronx, NY. Pam directs and acts with
Kevin Higgins and Jess Heron.

Mar. 24, 2012 - Pam will be singing for the SPEAKEASY benefit for
Historic Huguenot Street, New Paltz, NY

Jan. 27-Feb. 5, 2012 - Pam will star in CRAZY MARY by A.R,
Gurney at Unison in New Paltz, NY, produced by
Beat Theater,
directed by Sean Marrinan and co-starring Marianne Matthews.

July 28, 2011 - Pam appears in concert at the Iseman Theater on the
Yale University campus in New Haven, CT. Sharon McNight shares
the bill.
